About Ivannique Co.

A small Grand Prairie workshop built on careful diagnosis, fair pricing and instruments that stay playable for decades.

Bench work, not sales work

Ivannique Co. began with a single toolbox, a used Schaff regulating kit and a stubborn conviction that most pianos written off as "not worth fixing" simply needed someone patient. More than two decades later we still operate the way we started: one technician on the job from the first inspection to the final touch-up tuning.

Our Rice Street shop handles the heavy work — restringing, pinblock replacement, soundboard shimming, key recovering and refinishing. Everything else travels to you, because a piano behaves differently in your room than it does in ours, and the room is where it has to sound right.

How we work

  • Listen and measure first. Pitch, humidity readings, action geometry and felt condition are recorded before anything is quoted.
  • Quote the whole job. You get one number with the options explained, not a low callout fee followed by surprises.
  • Repair before replace. Original parts are preserved wherever they can still do their job.
  • Leave notes behind. Every client receives a short written record of what was done and what to expect next season.

Who we serve

Families

Beginner students, inherited uprights and the piano that has been in the living room since 1972. We keep them pleasant to play and safe to practice on.

Churches & schools

Maintenance schedules that match your calendar, with pre-service and pre-concert tunings booked in advance.

Teachers & studios

Instruments that get eight hours a day need regulation, not just tuning. We build service plans around real usage.
